Hand Sewing, Weaving & Embroidery Class
Invite a skilled textile teacher to your homeschool group for a creative, hands-on class exploring the timeless crafts of hand sewing, weaving, and embroidery.
Students will learn practical techniques while creating beautiful projects they can be proud of. Classes can be offered as a weekly series or as a one-time workshop, and activities can be adapted to suit different ages and skill levels.
What Students May Learn
- Basic hand-sewing stitches and safe needle use
- How to thread a needle, tie knots, and sew seams
- Embroidery stitches and decorative designs
- Simple weaving techniques using yarn, fabric, or natural materials
- How to work with patterns, textures, and colors

- How to make useful or decorative items to take home

Class Options
One-Time Workshop:
A fun introduction to hand sewing, weaving, or embroidery, with each student completing a small project.
Weekly Class Series:
A multi-week program in which students build skills gradually and complete a variety of projects, such as embroidered samplers, woven wall hangings, small pouches, bookmarks, ornaments, or simple gifts.
All materials and project instructions can be provided, or the class can be customized around supplies your group already has.
$150 per 60 minute session with 6 kids in Santa Rosa( other towns in Sonoma County available but might have a slight surcharge for extra mileage)
